LATEST RELEASE OF JessX
VERSION 1.3
After three years of work, the team of developpers released a great version of JessX, reliable, stable, and with a lot of useful features... The second team members gives you their release : JessX 1.0 (May 2006). The third team released : JessX 1.3 (May 2007). Feel free to use it. If you want to communicate your comments, questions or suggestions you can contact us by e-mail.

QUICK START!
- 1. Check your Java Version (read instructions below). Update it if necessary.
- 2. Download and unzip the file “JessX 1.3 – software” and read Readme.txt.
- 3. Read the instruction, here, to start an experiment.
LATEST VERSION OF JAVA IS NEEDED!
You must have the version 1.5 or above installed on your computer to use JessX. If you want to know which version is installed and if you are a Windows user, click on "Execute" in the start menu, then type "command". Then type "java -version" (without the quotes),and the version will be displayed. You can download the latest version here (click on "Download JRE").
SOME EXPERIMENT FILES
You can download different experiments XML files that allow you to perform experiments without having to set up their scenario yourself. It is very useful for beginners since you can see how these scenarios are created on the server, and imagine your own ones based on these examples.
TUTORIAL AND DEFINITIONS
These are the turorial to begin to parameter the session you want and the definitions of each element of the software. They are normaly included in the file "JessX 1.0 software" just before.
FORMER JessX VERSIONS
To improve the understanding of the development of the project, we have released the latest version and deleted some of the previous ones from the site. If you downloaded a previous version, please note that the XML and all executables are incompatible with the version 1.0.
A former JessX versions is still available for download, where needed...
